Zahra Al Hilaly drops by Breakfast, breaks down her role at UN Women Australia

To mark International Women’s Day 2021 we checked in with women making waves.

That includes Zahra Al Hilaly, she’s a university student, Muslim woman in Perth and also just casually holds a place representing Australia on UN Women’s Generation Equality Task Force.

She stopped by Breakfast with Taylah to talk about her work with with UN Women Australia, what International Women’s Day means to her, and what progress still needs to be made to ensure the equity, diversity and inclusion necessary for an egalitarian society.
