On Air : Listen

I discovered the British folk-rock revival of the 60s when I was a teenager in the 90s (when it was terminally uncool) and I’ve never looked back. Like most presenters at the station I’m a music tragic. I may or may not have once organised my records autobiographically (by year of acquisition) after watching High Fidelity…

How did you become involved in the station?

I followed a trail of breadcrumbs…

If stuck on Mars, what five albums could you not go without?

  • Syd Arthur – On An On
  • Cate le Bon – Mug Museum
  • Wolf People – Steeple
  • Unknown Mortal Orchestra – Multi Love
  • Shuggie Otis – Inspiration Information

What is the best thing about being involved in the station?

Definitely the people. I’ve met so many passionate, community minded, generous and committed folks who love Perth and Perth music.

If you could present a show other than your own, which would it be and why?

Soulsides or El Ritmo. Those shows are killer and every presenter knows their stuff. So much groove and obscurity!

What do you do in real life?

I’m a musician and a music teacher.
