Get to know George

Playing gigs at YMCA HQ as a teen with the Man Sandal babes was my yellow brick road to the broader Boorloo arts community that I now live and breathe. I soon discovered my love for being an artist as well as an arts worker, which feels nice being involved in the arts scene from different perspectives. I started a band project called Happenings which has been my main creative schtick, among other things including event organising, an inconsistent visual art practice and community radio of course. Community spaces/projects/initiatives really fill my cup up! A passion of mine for sure.
