Understorey: Cuba, More from Less

The Australian Constitution has nothing directly to say about the environment.  By contrast, the new Cuban constitution being voted on Sunday not only mentions the environment, but puts it in an international context, expressly highlighting climate change and a shared responsibility for action.  The same constitutional provision also questions "irrational" production and consumption.  Understorey meets with Richard Titelius, a regular visitor to Cuba, just back in Perth from his sixth trip in ten years, to gain a few impressions of why this small Caribbean nation of only eleven million attracts such ardent supporters around the world.
