Understorey: Horizons~Blistering Good

Understorey: Horizons is our autumn season of curated programs from the Understorey sound-rich back catalogue.  Be inspired, start bushwalking - and always have three pairs of socks handy, a garbage liner in your pack, and a pocket knife for those special encounters with delicious cheese.The world renowned Bibbulmun Track follows the 1000 km Noongar trail between Perth and Albany.   But beware: writer Tamara Lazaroff's introduction to the track, like many who are new to multiday walks, produced comprehensive first day blisters. In 2016 Understorey puts Lazaroff in touch with Marian Lester, a professional walking guide who leads groups for multiday walks in Kimberley and Top End wilderness.  Well timed: Lazaroff was soon off to Spain, to walk the famous Camino de Santiago trail for pilgrims.  We heard she had a wonderful time!
