Wrestling with Kučka

Laura Jane Lowther, AKA Kučka is a homegrown artist who got her start making GarageBand beats from her bedroom right here in Perth. She’s since spent her time collaborating with some of the biggest names in the music industry worldwide including A$AP Rocky, Flume and the late, great SOPHIE.

It’s been years in the making but her debut album Wrestling is finally due, dropping tomorrow via Melbourne-based label Soothsayer. Wrestling is a deeply personal record about growing up, coming out and moving countries, executed with the signature cutting edge production of an artist at the top of their game.

Thursday Out to Lunch presenter Kailyn Crabbe caught up with Laura ahead of the album’s release and chatted about all things to do with the making of Wrestling.
