A Day for Greyhounds

Greyhound Adoptions WA is a critical organisation in the field of animal rescue in Western Australia.

The organisation is hosting A Doggy Breakfast in Victoria Park in order to promote awareness of the way greyhounds are treated but more importantly give the dogs an opportunity to find a safe home.

Greyhound Adoption WA members Ellen and Peter joined the Get Up Morning show for a chat about the interesting origins of the animal rescue organisation, greyhounds being used for public entertainment, why greyhounds make such great pets, and details on their upcoming event.
