PREMIERE: Clay Western’s lush new single ‘Stay High’

Since easing his way into city life in 2019, Clay Western is became a favourite in the Boorloo live music community, performing raw and charismatic sets throughout the state while releasing a steady stream of hazy, sun-kissed singles.

His latest release, ‘Stay High’, is no different. ‘Stay High’ blends Western’s shimmery vocals with a velveteen string arrangement and sunshine soaked guitar playing the track is a lazy Sunday afternoon distilled into just under three minutes.

‘Stay High’ precedes a forthcoming EP Western recorded with the assistance of the Money War’s Dylan Olivierre.
