New Report Affirms Distressing Experiences Online Are Common For Young People

“The Kids Are Not Alright Online” is the title of a new report on the concerning volume of obscene content young people are being subjected to online. In some cases toddlers are being presented with sexually and violently explicit content.

The report has also collected the feedback of children, who unsurprisingly, broadly feel they are being let down by the current laws and regulations. The report has been released as the Australian government proposes new online privacy legislation.
