This week’s local feature record and third full length release from Odlaw, I Really Thought By Now We’d Have Some Sort Of Idea About Something is a therapeutic retelling of frontman Mark Neal’s chaotic life.
Starting as a creative outlet for Neal, Odlaw has quickly transcended into one of Perth’s finest storytellers. Following up on the success of his sophomore album Debut, this latest release is the summation of Neal revisiting old ideas, songs and memories, that when combined finely details the true complexity of being human.
Brimming with brutally honest self-reflection, every track stars the down to earth nature of Neal’s lyricism filling you with a sense comfort in being yourself.
