Bad With Phones has released his debut mixtape MARINADE, along with the video for his single ‘ON1’.

Manny, AKA Bad With Phones is a modern polymath; an ex-hacker, photographer, pyschonaut, and producer, the South-East London native wears many hats.

All those interests have coalesced on MARINADE, a strikingly stripped back and fluid mixtape that sees Manny lithely shift from braggadocious hustler to sensitive R&B crooner without skipping a beat.

Bad With Phones jumped on a Zoom call with RTRFM’s Matt Perrett to talk about the many influences that make up the mixtape, his musical journey and, of course, his the origins of his name. Listen to the chat below!
