Interview: Photographer Martine Perret

Award-winning photographer Martine Perret was born in Paris and lives and works in Margaret River. She uses aerial photography and portraiture to capture the best of what she sees in Western Australia.

But before that, she spent a decade documenting the extremes of humanity, covering United Nations peacekeeping missions in South Sudan, Burundi, and Timor-Leste. She was also on the ground documenting the outbreak of Ebola in West Africa.

She has an upcoming exhibition opening on the 11th of December, and joined Tom in the studio during On The Record to talk about her work, her vision, and what makes for a great photo.
