Junkadelic Brass Band turns 20

Junkadelic Brass Band co-founder Ken Allen joined On The Record to chat all about the band’s 20 year anniversary.

To celebrate this momentous occasion, the band will be bringing together plenty of Junkadelic crew from the past and present for a big birthday party at the Earthwise Community Garden in Subiaco on Sunday, 27 February.

Ken Allen spoke to Madeleine on On the Record about this milestone event, how the band originally came together, DIY instruments and more.

You can catch Junkadelic Band from 8pm on Friday, 25 February at Clancy’s Fremantle and from 3pm on Sunday, 27 February at the Earthwise Community Garden in Subiaco.
