Exploring diaspora with Nathan Beard

Nathan Beard is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice explores his Australian-Thai heritage through sculpture and photography.

Looking at cultural specificities and identity, his work uses personal archives to explore what it’s like to be part of diaspora.

Nathan’s new exhibition Low Yield Fruit opens on Saturday the 26th March at Sweet Pea Gallery.

He joins Bec Bowman on Artbeat to discuss the exhibition and the how culture and identity intersects with his artistic practice.
