The Uncaged Sky – Dr Kylie Moore-Gilbert

Dr Kylie Moore-Gilbert is an Australian academic specialising in West Asia. After attending a conference in Iran she was arrested by the infamous Iranian Revolutionary Guards and detained in a prison whose name is synonymous with human rights abuses: Evin.

Surviving 804 days as a political prisoner and hostage she has written a memoir about the experience called The Uncaged Sky.
