Connor Macdonald: Human Rights in Myanmar

Over one million people have been displaced following the military coup in Myanmar in February 2021, and elected official and democracy advocate Aung San Suu Kyi has been imprisoned.

Jeff Bullen is joined by journalist and activist Connor Macdonald to speak about the crisis in the region. Macdonlad is a media and communications officer with the Special Advisory Council for Myanmar.

Macdonald spent four years reporting from Myanmar on human rights issues, and speaks on the human rights atrocities being committed by the military government, and Australian involvement in the conflict.
