King Blue Discuss New Single ‘Breathless’
Formed in high school in 2019, local treasures King Blue have become known for their particular branch of groove heavy indie. With a string of singles released since 2021, the quintet have built up a strong fanbase and are even known to sell out their single launches.
Now they’re back and stronger than ever with new single Breathless, a track that departs from King Blue’s signature heavy guitar and rhythm section aesthetic towards a more refined pop sensibility. With glossy harmonies and catchy hooks this infectious and relatable love song doesn’t disappoint.
Out To Lunch’s Elle Cee catches up with three members of the band Skye Sam, Tobias Blane and Craig Denn in the RTRFM studios to discuss all things the new single. We get to hear all about the band’s writing process, how they champion local bands and their approach to live shows is always from the standpoint of fun!
