The Drowners say hello with their debut EP, The Evening World Comes Out To Meet You

Boorloo’s post-synth-pop quartet The Drowners have released its first EP, The Evening World Comes Out To Meet You. Blending leftfield brit-pop influences with contemporary indie rock sensibilities and shadows of new-wave mutations, the five-piece is following up a run of successful singles and a debut demo tape, Don’t Mind The Spiders (Home Recordings).

Ahead of their in-person launch at The Aardvark on September 2, Hugo, Tom and Fraiser from the band join RTRFM’s Jxnior and Matt Perrett on Drivetime to chat about the EP, Dr. Who, their musical process and more. Tune in below!
