The Language Lab – Non verbal communication

We often think of language as what is verbally communicated between parties. However, a lot of communication is often non-verbal.

Being able to read these non-verbal cues is essential in being able to fully understand a speaker’s implied and literal message. 

UWA Senior Lecturer and Linguist Dr Celeste Rodriguez Louro joined Danielle Raffaele for The Agenda to chat about how non-verbal communication plays a part in daily communication and how it varies across genders and sexualities.
