Curtin trial aims to prevent migraine pain for sufferers

Researches at the  Curtin Health Innovation Research Institute  are launching the second trial phase of a new formulated nutritional supplement that could potentially help thousands of Australians who suffer from migraines on a regular basis.

Previous studies by researches from CHIRI, led by John Curtin Distinguished Professor John Mamo, found that migraines could be caused by too much constriction of microscopic blood vessels in the brain, called capillaries, which are vital for delivering nutrients and oxygen.

Professor John Mamo joined Jeff Bullen On The Record to discuss prevention of migraines. To be a part of the trial get in contact with John Mamo, call 08 9266 7232.
