The Killing Code – The Secret Female Codebreakers of WWII

Many people are familiar with Alan Turing’s code breaking efforts during World War Two, but not many know that 70% of the code breakers at Bletchley Park and Arlington Hall were young women.

Author Ellie Marney’latest work, The Killing Code, is a historical-fiction novel based on extensive research into women’s roles as Allied code breakers during WWII.

Interested in shining a light on these forgotten women of history, The Killing Code follows a group of young code breakers at Arlington Hall through the lens of a queer love story.

Ellie Marney joined RTRFM’s Danae Gibson for a chat On the Record.
