The red shoes taking a stand for women lost to violence

Perth forensic scientist and self-confessed shoe-lover Dr Paola Magni is on a mission to build a collection of 392 pairs of red shoes by the end of November.

But they will never find their way into her wardrobe – these shoes are destined to raise awareness of women who have lost their lives to gender-based violence in Australia.

Dr Paola joined Taylah Strano for Breakfast to chat about the project, happening as part of 16 Days in WA campaign against gendered violence.
