PhD student Elliott Fourie wins Westpac Future Leaders Scholarship grant

For as long as he can remember Elliott Fourie has loved exploring the outdoors and has always felt a calling to contribute to life sciences, in particular chemistry and biology.

Now at just 21-years old the PhD student in the field of biochemistry, molecular biology and genetics has just received the prestigious Westpac Future Leaders Scholarship.

He joined Danae Gibson for On The Record to answer questions about his fields of study, the practical implications of his research (both in space and on Earth), and the opportunities from his scholarship win.
