Winter Wonderland; Lightscape at Kings Park

Sue McDougall is the director of the WA Botanic Garden, overseeing Kings Park’s 18 hectares of unique flora.

McDougall shares the exciting details on Kings Park plan to transform into a winter wonderland of light, colour and sound when the global phenomenon Lightscape arrives in Perth for winter 2023 with Maxxi May.

Lightscape is a globally known light display, which has been seen across the UK and US, and now makes it way back through Australia, after it’s sellout debut show in Melbourne Royal Botanic Gardens.

From 16 June to 30 July, the display will take audiences on a 1.8km interactive journey through Kings Park gardens at night.
