FITTER | HAPPIER: IDAHOBIT

Last Wednesday was IDAHOBIT, the International Day against Homophobia, Biphobia, Interphobia and Transphobia.

The day is an annual celebration of our LGBTQIA+ community, while raising awareness about the work still needed to combat discrimination and violence in the space.

Royal Perth Hospital clinical nurse specialist and LGBTQIA+ mental health division project officer Jane Armstrong spoke with Pamela Boland about this day of recognition and what it means for members of the local LGBTQIA+ community.
