Environmental Music Prize celebrates music with a message

It’s no secret that musicians have often used their songs to share messages of hope and protest.

Back in its second year, The Environmental Music Prize aims to reward artists for doing just that, with the list of finalists has just been announced.

Prize founder Edwine Floch talks with RTRFM more about prize, which includes Australia’s top 22 songs about climate and conservation by artists like Midnight Oil, Jen Cloher, MO’JU, Flume, Xavier Rudd and more.
