NEW MOVIE: ‘Slant’ Starring Sigrid Thornton

Set in Melbourne at Christmas time in 1999, Slant sees a career-crazed journalist dredging up the sordid secrets of an infamous socialite after her mysterious disappearance. In this campy, dark comedy glam thriller we catch Australian screen royalty Sigrid Thornton’s latest on screen appearance.

The feature is a debut from both director James Vinson and writer Michael Nikou. Slant co-stars a bold Australian ensemble alongside Thornton including Kate Lister (Clickbait), Pia Miranda (Looking for Alibrandi), Neil Pigot (Red Dog), Michael Nikou (Fisk), Ra Chapman (Wentworth), Shannon Berry (The Wilds) and Elle Mandalis (Head On).
