Local Feature: Didion’s Bible – Faster Than You Think

This week Pam had a chat with Boorloo alt-rock sextet Didion’s Bible.

The band snuck out their fourth EP a couple weeks ago on a Saturday, launching it with performances at The Bird and the Buffalo Club.

Faster Than You Think is the name of the EP but it didn’t necessarily come out faster than you might have thought it would, in fact, it’s been two years since the band’s No Caveat EP was released and five years since they debuted with Scriptspeak.

Clever, fun and full of levity, Faster Thank You Think is an ensemble record. Each track slowly builds, increasing in layers and funkiness before you find yourself hurtling along in an escapable groove.

A couple of the minds behind Didion’s Bible – Drew KRAPLIJANOV and Laurent SHERVINGTON joined Pam Boland on Brekky to get into it a little bit more.
