Local Feature Chat: Kill Devil Hills’ MATANGO!

Local purveyors of post-folk rock The Kill Devil Hills share their last 6 years with the release of MATANGO!

Following on from 2018’s Pink Fit, this record borrows its name from a 1963 Japanese psychological horror and sees the band find solace in strange and sinewy sounds, staying true to their self prescribed identity as “rock band with a heart of mud and coal”.

Kill Devil Hills’ Todd Pickett stopped by Breakfast with Pam to talk through the making of this week’s local feature and share a first listen of some special tracks from the record.
