Fairbridge Festival Showcase

After Fairbridge Festival was cancelled again this year Kaleidoscope Multicultural Arts Management and Folkworld Inc. have re-grouped, arranging a showcase at Fremantle Arts Centre, spotlighting some of the international and interstate acts originally booked for this years celebration of all things folk music.

The festival has faced repeated cancellations since 2020, due to a combination of issues including the COVID-19 pandemic and changes in venue.

Jon Cope, Artistic Director for Fairbridge Festival and manager at Kaleidoscope Multicultural Arts Management, joined Pam on Breakfast to talk about the festival, the festival landscape on a national level, and how we can best support the arts.

The Fairbridge Festival Showcase will be running at the Fremantle Arts Centre on Sunday, the 7th of April.
