Oceans Institute: Global Warming

Earlier this year researchers at the University of Western Australia’s Ocean Institute found that global warming had already exceeded 1.5 degrees.

The research found that global warming had increased 0.5 degrees more than previously estimated and that the industrial-era warming began earlier than previously thought, in the mid-1860s.

Some of the team behind this research are holding a free public lecture next Monday, to examine the findings and share the research with the public.
