23rd Japan International Art Exchange Exhibition with Desiree Crossing, Peteris Ciemitis and Andrew McDonald

Desiree Crossing is a Perth based contemporary painter, Peteris Ciemitis is an Australian artist noted for his contemporary portraiture and landscapes, and Andrew McDonald is an artist and art critic.

These artist will be attending The 23rd Japan International Art Exchange Exhibition, held at The Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum on June 15-20.

Alongside them comes, 14 other West Australian, East Coast and New Zealand participants, with 10 travelling to Japan for the events.

They talk with Danae Gibson on Artbeat about local initiative to help boost the international profile of local creatives, as well as contribute in a small way to Australian cultural diplomacy.
