Winston the Support Dog

Dr Suz Rock speaks about how their new dog Winston at the Perth Children’s Court has significantly helped reduce stress and anxiety for victims, witnesses and family while they are going through the process of testifying in court.

The ECU Criminology Department has done a  study looking into introducing justice facility dogs into the children’s court. They currently only have one dog a black Labrador named Winston but are definitely looking into getting some more.
