Where Are We One Year On From The Voice To Parliament Referendum?

This past year has been a difficult one for First Nations communities across the country…

The failed Voice to Parliament Referendum has disrupted reconciliation, marking a significant time in Australian history when the nation determined they didn’t want to give Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people a Voice to Parliament…but the journey isn’t over.

This week members of the community will gather at Fremantle Art Centre’s Wardong Gallery to discuss where we are a year on from the Voice Referendum.

RTRFMs Danielle Raffaele spoke with First Nations advocate and panel moderator Emma Garlett about the event and started by asking what it’s been like for her a year on from the vote.
