Professor Kirsten Homes from Curtins school of Management and Marketing talks with Fiona Bartholomaeus about the financial benefits and impacts affecting Paris hosting the Paralympics.

Kirsten Homes explains that a host city hosts both the Olympics and the Paralympics so they have to raise costs in order to accommodate both events. Although host the Olympics usually brings in more money for the host city as it brings in a lot of tourists to go see the events so the host city normally makes their money back and then some.
