Sunny Morris on You’re a Liar, Girl

You’re A Liar, Girl is the latest album from the Naarm/ Melbourne based artist Sunny Morris.

Produced with label mate Liam ‘Snowy’ Halliwell (Snowy Band) the record sees Sunny confidently utilise new sonic palettes, embracing orchestral elements, trumpets, saxophones and RICH harmonies in the creation of her portrait.

From childhood reminiscence, to the questioning of her relationship with family, society, and even God – You’re A Liar, Girl is Sunny’s portrait of a trans woman’s experience.

It is warm, decisive and important.
