Tamsyn Heynes on professional ballet collective, Telluric Creatives

Telluric Creatives is an independent, professional ballet collective, that focuses on Eco Art, issues-based theatre and multigenre works led by dancer/choreographer, Tamsyn Heynes.

“These Arbitrary Borders” – A Contemporary Ballet for Contemporary Times is their latest production happening at DADAA in Fremantle, October 11-12.

The project aims to bring an important perspective to the audience in light of the need for environmentally sounder practices, in the time of climate crisis.

“Borders. Division and belonging. The inclusion, the exclusion. The creation, the destruction.’These Arbitrary Borders‘ is an exploration of the various human-imposed borders in local, national and global situations, and their ramifications at the nexus of environment and society, and on the ‘more-than-human’.”
