Lee Sappho and 45 Years of Spoonful of Blues

The RTRFM show Spoonful of Blues is celebrating its 45th birthday this Sunday at Clancy’s Fish Pub, Fremantle, featuring artists such as Dan Howls, Biscuit & Slim, Diamond Daves, and the Kerry B Ryan Blues Experience, as well as Spoonful of Blues DJs.

Pam Boland talks with legendary WA-based blues singer Lee Sappho, who is also performing at the upcoming show. They discuss Lee’s career, the significance of blues music, and the development of the blues scene in Western Australia over the years.
