Nathan Beard unpacks Thai diaspora in PICA exhibition

Kamarang or second spring in the Noongar seasonal calendar brings drier, hotter days to Perth as well as a fresh lineup of new artists at PICA.

Local multidisciplinary creative Nathan Beard is one of those people, presenting a mischievous take on Thai diaspora in Perth in his latest work – A Puzzlement – which blends photography, video, sculpture and installation to interrogate ideas about authenticity and colonisation.
