The The are cult faves in the world of new wave and post-punk, their infectious sound bursting onto the London scene over four decades ago, musing melodic synth pop with potent socio-political alt rock.

Anchored by founder and frontman Matt Johnson‘s passion for truth and artistic expression, The The has returned with their first studio album in 25 years, Ensoulment.

As part of their Ensouled world tour, The The returns to Australia with their first show in Perth in over 30 years.

On Breakfast, Pam caught up with Matt Johnson to talk music as therapy, working with family and their new set list.
