Bookclub with Danielle Raffaele

RTRFMs resident bibliofile (and Bond villain) Danielle Raffaele stops by Breakfast to catch Pam Boland up on her latest reads.

First, they discuss a book event organsied as part of Pride Month, celebrating the queer anthology An Unexpected Party.

Then, do you have your summer reading list ready? Well, politicians have been gifted a bunch of books by up to 90 of your favourite Australian authors to school them on the nuances of the war on Palestine. You can can check out the Summer Reading for MPs here.

For the main event, Danielle reviews Lech Blaine’s second narrative non-fiction Australian Gospel: A Family Saga, an epic story about Lech’s incredible family and a stranger than fiction tale that explores the meaning of family.
