Local film Sweet Oblivion on the power of connection and expression at the Y HQ

For more than 100 years, The Y HQ has provided children’s services, recreation, camping and youth services across the community through their all-ages venue.

Local filmmaker duo Sophie Minnisale and George Samios are in the midst of bringing to life Sweet Oblivion, a film set at the Y HQ Gig Space in the heart of Leederville, capturing it’s significance in the lives of young west Australian’s.

Sophie and George joined Pam Boland on Breakfast to discuss the City of Vincent and Revelation Film Festival supported project and the importance of third spaces for local children and youth.
