THE ARTS AND CULTURE TRUST AND RTRFM PRESENT THE COURTYARD CLUB 2025: FREE, LIVE LOCAL MUSIC.

The Arts and Culture Trust and RTRFM are excited to announce the Courtyard Club returns in 2025 for your Friday night post-work fun; a free 7-week concert series taking place every Friday evening from 31 October to 12 December in the State Theatre Centre Courtyard of WA.

RTRFM is pleased to be teaming up with the State Theatre Centre of WA and the Arts and Culture Trust for the 12th year to bring live, local music into the heart of Northbridge.

The Courtyard Club has become the perfect place to start your weekend with friends, as RTRFM DJ Vishnu brings you Friday Drivetime live featuring live performances by local bands and DJs. With heaps of bands playing across the 7 weeks, there is something for everyone, including maybe your new favourite act just waiting to be discovered.

It all kicks off on Friday 31 October from 5pm as we team up with the Perth International Jazz Festival and present Virgo Nightmare, featuring Talya Valenti, Miella Mondlane, POW! and Tanaya Harper plus new upstarts Blu Flamingo, followed by DJ KL from RTRFM’s Ambient Zone.

Throughout the series you can hear the soulful and powerful voice of Alexia Parenzee, the alt indie of Sascha Ion and the Elements, the country twang of The Little Lord Street Band, the pop magic of Little Guilt, the shoegaze wonder of Teen Angst, the polka party of The Witchy Djypsies and the soul and funk of the Steve Hensby Band.

Plus on December 5 we celebrate 20 Years of Posted, RTRFM’s post rock show with sets from Flood and Selfless Orchestra, plus a takeover by the Posted crew.

Each live performance will be followed by sets from some of the best DJs in town, including Elle Cee (Out To Lunch), Jas Hughes (Drivetime), Conor Levy (Up Late), Sliding Doors (The Rounds) and Em and Lee Vixen (Drivetime)

The Courtyard Club is a family friendly event with a licensed bar for those after work drinks.

Enjoy free live radio with Vishnu from RTRFM and local music under the stars in the summertime surrounds of the State Theatre Centre of WA Courtyard every Friday from 31 October ‘til 12 December
