RTRFM’s NEON PICNIC RETURNS FOR ITS NINTH YEAR THIS MARCH

Join RTRFM at Hyde Park Amphitheatre on Saturday 21 March 2026 for Neon Picnic, a family-friendly live radio event with musical acts, kids entertainment and tasty treats.

Come and bask in the picnic paradise that is Neon Picnic and chill on the grass of Perth’s most beloved park enjoying an amazing lineup of RTRFM shows: Global Rhythm Pot, Homegrown and Drastic on Plastic, live and in-person, featuring special musical guests.

Catch some of the best local music Perth has to offer, from beloved station faves Australian Critters, Bella Dyer, Juliana Areias & Friends – The New Brazilian Wave, Sgt Hulka and WAYJO’s Dynamic Jazz Orchestra. 

Bring the kids for a range of activities held throughout the day, including arts and crafts, from the creative minds at Art Jam, a zine-making workshop with Emiko Watanabe and the return of the RTRFM Bake Sale.   

Relax with a drink from Whitelakes Brewing and wine from Blind Corner or grab a bite from Kitchen and Barrel and ice cream from Sweets on the Run. Plus this year RTRFM will be cooking up some snags from Mondo Butchers for an old fashioned sausage sizzle.
