Caitlin Brown

As a kid, I was always writing a story or making a music video, and when I was about 14, I became a true ‘fangirl’ of arts and media. I fell in love with film, TV, music and pop culture. Since then, my bedroom walls have been covered with the faces of actors and musicians and album covers and movie posters. My most prized possession is a teeny-tiny, framed Andrew Garfield who lives in my childhood bedroom.

My journalism degree fed my love for writing and introduced me to radio – including RTRFM. I love presenting at the station because I can discover new music and share it with others. It’s awesome to be able to fangirl over local arts and chat about what’s happening in the community. It’s been very special to join RTRFM in championing local, diverse voices.

Outside of the station, I enjoy writing, reading, scrapbooking, a good jigsaw puzzle and, if I’m lucky, going to a concert!
