Trade Unionists For All (TUFA)

Most people don’t think about trade unions until they need the support of one. Without them, the employment landscape would be very different. The conditions we all enjoy have come about through decades of negotiation and sacrifice by workers insisting their labour is valued fairly. Without knowing the history and feeling like you’re locked out of the future, young workers may fail to see the sense in joining and being active in their union. Trade Unionists For All or TUFA (pronounced Tougher) is a new movement looking to get right amongst the grass roots…which is always where trade unions do their best work. Their desire is to create a space where rank & file trade unionists from across all industries can come together and discuss how to support each other with the aim of growing the labour movement and improving wages and working conditions.
