Jim E. Brown: His album ‘Dirt’, comfort foods, and the rising mice problem in WA.

The following interview contains themes and content that may not be appropriate for some listeners.

Jim E. Brown is an esoteric and enigmatic character.
At first listen, he could be your average geezer from Manchester in a turtleneck and blazer.
But peel back the layers and you’ll quickly find the rich inner world of a man who looks too mature to be the 19 year-old self-deprecating Englishman he has claimed to be for the last 5 years.

Is he actually a man from Manchester or is there a long-running joke we’re not in on? And who is his songwriter, Max Margulies? Maybe it’s best not to question it…

Thursday’s Out To Lunch hosts Conor and Lachy caught up with Brown, ahead of his upcoming sold-out show on Saturday night at Buffalo Club, supported by Lyndon Blue & Andy Burns.
