Bookclub with Danielle Raffaele

This week we’re highlighting First Nations storytelling in celebration of NAIDOC Week!

First, Danielle Raffaele reviews The Yield, a critically acclaimed novel by Wiradjuri author Tara June Winch about Albert ‘Poppy’ Gondiwindi who, knowing he will soon die decides to write a dictionary of Wiradjuri language. Then, Pam discusses a new series for children called Noongar First Word Series! written by Jayden Boundry. Finally, Dani recommends a novel by academic Anita Heiss called The Paradise Pact.
