UN Declares PFAS ‘Forever Chemicals’ threat to human rights

Last week we discussed a new study on PFAS (forever chemicals) which looked into the concentration of it in our rainwater. While it was found that the concentration level is very low and far lower than the National Health and Medical Research Council’s safe levels of PFAS in the environment, it is still a concern that it is even being found in our rainwater. Last week a new report from the United Nations Environment Programme declared PFAS a threat to all human rights and is urging an immediate international phase-out of the chemical.
