Totally Lit Festival returns for 2026!

The Totally Lit festival is back again for another year, with dozens of events and local authors to hear from, the festival celebrates all things storytelling and proves that stories belong everywhere.

It kicks off for its second year on 2nd October and runs until 16th October across various Fremantle locations. Author and journalist Gillian O’Shaughnessy is one of the local storytellers who will be joining the festival line up, taking part in 3 events ‘Flash & Fizz’, ‘Plain Speaking Jane – A literary lunch with Jane Caro’ and ‘Prime Crime’.

Her husband, Glynn Greensmith, is participating in ‘Murder and the Media’, a panel conversation to explore whether the media’s coverage of mass shootings and other murders contributes to an escalation in crime.
